Below you will find the information provided for the first edition of the Amsterdam Chess Open. When more is known about the second edition, this page will be updated.

 

Check-in

Check-in will be Friday morning between 9:00 and 10:30.

Playing times

Friday October 27

• Round one: 11:30

• Round two: 6:00 PM

Saturday October 28​

• Round three: 10:00

• Round four: 4:00 PM

Sunday October 29

• Round five: 10:00

  • IMPORTANT: in the night from Saturday to Sunday the clock will be changed to winter time!​

• Round six: 15:00

The award ceremony will be held as soon as possible after the last round finishes.

​

Prize fund

The prizes shown are in euros.

Additionally there is a rating prize to be won in each group:

Groep A: €100,-

Groep B: €50,-

Groep C & D: Paard & Go giftcard (€30,-)

Format

The games are played with 90 minutes of thinking time and 30 seconds of increment for the entire game.

 

Byes

It is possible to request two byes in the first four rounds.
