Over the past year a lot has come to light in the professional chess world regarding inappropriate behavior. Chess is a sport for everyone, and as the organization of the Amsterdam Chess Open we want to create a safe environment for all participants to be able to do what we all love; playing chess. Thats why we have assigned a confidant, who participants can contact at all times before, during, and after the tournament.
