Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years of age. Unless they have permission from parents or guardians. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. Including administration, communication about results, etc.

Photo & Film
During our chess tournament, photos and video images may be taken for publication purposes, such as on our website, social media channels or in promotional material. We do this for the purpose of reporting and promoting our tournament. For specific recordings for which permission is legally required, we explicitly ask your permission in advance.
Sharing personal data with third parties
Stichting Amsterdam Chess Open shares your personal data with the KNSB and FIDE. Match results may be published on our website with your name and rating. We conclude a processing agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Stichting Amsterdam Chess Open remains responsible for these processes.
